How to Measure
-
Multiply the length by the width of your desired area for straight cladding slips. (M²)
-
For corners, measure the vertical height this will give you the linear meters (LM).
You can allocate up to 10% extra for wastage and cuts per project.
How to Purchase
Each individual piece of stone is carefully packaged loose on a pallet, on a pallet there is up to 20m². As each piece of stone has random heights and lengths the cladding slips are purchased per meter squared.
A pallet of cladding corners is up to 50LM, as each piece of cladding corner has random heights and lengths they are purchased by the linear meter (LM).
How to Apply
With these natural stone cladding slips each piece of individual stone gets applied onto a masonry substrate, same method as tiling but in a finish to suit. Choosing the right pointing colour and finish is essential to achieving the perfect look for your project. Pointing colour can alter your overall look significantly so definitely something to think about.
(Note: Cladding slips are suitable for application on masonry blockwork or cement fibre boards; they are not recommended for plasterboard surfaces)
